The Hon'ble Chief Minister had announced aid in the form of construction of 20 new labour quarters for the workers of Temi Tea Estate under the scheme "Chief Minister Garib Awas Yojana." As such Hon'ble Minister C&I, directed the local BAC to initiate the survey and inspection to validate the land availability for construction and conditions of the houses of the beneficiaries. The survey was conducted by BDO, Temi under the guidance of Hon'ble Chairman, Tea Board of Sikkim along with the management and ward Panchayats.
