A free eye checkup and treatment camp was organized at Temi Tea Estate, South Sikkim, on 16th April 2022 by the Rotary Club, South, Gangtok in collaboration with Greater Lion’s Eye Hospital, Siliguri. The programme was graced by Shri B.S. Panth, Area MLA, Temi Namphing cum Hon’ble Minister of Tourism & Civil Aviation, Commerce and Industries Department, as the Chief Guest. He inaugurated the camp with his own eye checkup, followed by the checkups and treatments of workers and beneficiaries from surrounding areas. In total, about 250 beneficiaries availed the free services.
