The Estate was visited by Hon'ble Member of Parliament, Darjeeling, Shri Raju Bista, on 29.04.2022 along with various dignitaries of Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM). He was received by Hon'ble Chairman, Tea Board of Sikkim, Shri Tashi Tshering Bhutia, the Management, BDO Temi, SKM Party functionaries, Temi Namphing, and the staff and workers of Temi Tea Estate. During his address, the Hon'ble MP interacted with the workers and informed them about various schemes and policies of the Central Government aimed at the welfare of tea garden workers. The dignitaries were also given a field and factory tour, where they were briefed about the nuances of the good quality tea-making process.
